2021  |  JUNIOR SEASON

Tan is a graduate transfer from the University of New Mexico where she played two years on the beach team...she had two years of eligibility to play for the Broncos...played in two team duals and two pairs tournaments for a total of 11 combined matches during the season going 7-4 overall...also played several exhibition matches as the No. 6 pair...competed with Kylee Johnson in the team duals going 2-0...played alongside Maya Watkins during the two Corban University pairs tournaments going 5-4...collect a team dual victory over Utah's Hannah Stahle and Kaiya Liwanag 21-14, 21-8 on court five during a Bronco victory...defeated CSUN's Abbey Sweeting and Victoria Rogers at No. 5 pair 19-21, 21-17, 15-12 to help Boise State to team win...went 2-2 at the Corban March AVCA Pairs Tournament (March 12-13) with wins over Corban's Jacquelyn Clark and Jolinn Daviscourt 20-22, 21-15, 15-6 and Corban's Lauren Condon and Melanie Miller 28-26, 21-15...went 3-2 at the Corban April AVCA Pairs Tournament (April 2-3) defeating three Corban pairs Nicole Bantilan and Kalisi Latu 21-15, 21-15, Tyra Ching and Tessa McFetridge 21-16, 21-14 and Melanie Miller and Lauren Condon 21-17, 22-20.

HIGHLIGHTS: Two-year letterwinner for the New Mexico...had an overall record of 19-27...as a sophomore in 2019 played for the Lobos' No. 2 pair where she went 8-15 overall…as a freshman went 11-12 overall while playing primarily at the No. 3 position…after a slow start finished her freshman year going 11-4 including a win over a pair from No. 14/13 Florida International.

YARRA VALLEY SCHOOL

Graduated from Yarra Valley Grammar School in Ringwood, Victoria, Australia…three-year letterwinner in volleyball and five-year letterwinner in both basketball and track & field…accorded Honors Colors in volleyball and basketball, along with Colors in athletics…earned Coach’s Award Firsts in volleyball in 2014 and 2015 and Coach’s Award Firsts in basketball in 2013…honored with the Yarra Valley Grammar School Adam Strachan Memorial Award for contribution to school sports…played with the Australian Junior Women’s Team, having competed at the South East Asian Games and Asian Junior Volleyball Championships in 2016 and the USA High Performance Championships in 2015.

PERSONAL

Was a two-sport athlete at New Mexico where she also played three years on the indoor volleyball team...she played in 78 matches for the Lobos.
