Julia Sanchez was named the director of baseball operations at Boise State, October 30, 2018.

A native of San Clemente, Calif., Sanchez was the assistant general manager of the Orange County Riptide in the California Collegiate League (CCL) during the 2018 season.

Her responsibilities with the Riptide included ballpark administration, overseeing interns, fielding scouting questions, helping coordinate team travel, and running social media accounts.

Sanchez will be responsible for coordinating the Broncos’ team travel and on-campus recruiting, while serving as a liaison between the baseball staff and academics, media relations, marketing and promotions, game day operations, and the Bronco Athletic Association.

Sanchez is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in public relations with a certification in Spanish from Boise State.
