Shane Nelson joined the Boise State Athletic Department in January 2019 as an athletic trainer.
Nelson spent seven seasons (2011-17) in the Chicago Cubs’ organization, including 2016 and 2017 with the AAA affiliate Iowa Cubs. He provided care in accordance with the National Athletic Training Association’s six domains of clinical practice.
A Certified Athletic Trainer, Nelson graduated Cum Laude from Central College (Iowa) in 2011.
