Played wide receiver, running back and quarterback at Lincoln High School...as a junior, caught 22 passes for 409 yards and four touchdowns, being named all-league...followed that with another all-league season as a senior, throwing for 332 yards and three touchdowns while rushing for 32 yards on six carries...also played basketball at Lincoln.
