Why did you choose Boise State?
I chose Boise State for the criminal justice academic program, the receptive community and the opportunity to compete as a Division I athlete and play as a freshman.

How did Boise State impact your life?
I came to Boise as a young teenager and grew into a young man. I received my bachelor's degree, built a foundation for a successful career in criminal justice, met my wife of 40 years and, later, our two children were born in Boise.

Do you have any special memories or moments?
Attending and participating in the academics at Boise State was special. Traveling and competing against other universities, beating nationally-ranked teams and establishing lifelong friendships with teammates, opponents and other Boise State students, athletes and faculty.

How do you stay in contact with Boise State?
I have attended various reunions and fundraisers, home and away basketball and football games and am a former member of the Varsity B Club. I also donate to the Boise State Criminal Justice Program and have mentored Boise State criminal justice students.

Athletic Achievements
  • Team Freshman of the Year Award
  • Team captain as a senior
