Why did you choose Boise State?
I remember when I stepped off the plane on my recruiting trip the sky was blue and the air was fresh. It was such a contrast from LA. The coaching staff and current players I met made me feel very welcome. The school had a long winning tradition, and I had an immediate opportunity to play a role in sustaining that tradition.

How did Boise State impact your life?
Coming to Boise State had a significant impact on my life as I met a Boise native whom I eventually married. She has been my best friend for 43 years. We were blessed with two wonderful children both born in Boise. My long career in banking began with Idaho First National Bank with a recommendation from the assistant AD at the time

Do you have any special memories or moments?

The three-consecutive undefeated Big Sky Conference titles were a definite highlight, as well as the three-consecutive trips to the NCAA Division II National Championship playoffs.

Athletic Achievements
  • Undefeated Big Sky Conference champions in 1973, 1974 and 1975
  • Reaching the Division II Playoffs in 1973, 1974 and 1975
