I chose Boise State as a result of my best friend, another Boise State player John Mayfield, and I signed my Letter of Intent at his house.
How did Boise State impact your life?
Boise State Athletics supporter Joe Harvey informed me about the opportunity for employment at the Boise Post Office. I was able to retire with 32 years of service credit and a great pension.
Do you have any special memories or moments?
Being a college student-athlete; one of three student-athletes to work on the construction of The Pavilion (ExtraMile Arena); the association with BSU basketball players and being honored at a BSU game.
How do you stay in contact with Boise State?
I’ve been a basketball booster the last 15 years. I attend all BSU home games and other basketball functions. Also, I attend academic events at BSU and I am very supportive of the Black Student Alliance.
Career Status and /or Accomplishments:
- Enjoying over 40 years of friendship with teammates
- Sponsored a locker at the Arguinchona Basketball Complex
