2015-16 | FRESHMAN HIGHLIGHTS
PRIOR TO BOISE STATE
- Competed in one tournament during the fall semester going 2-1 in singles and 1-1 in doubles at the Larry Easley Memorial Classic in Las Vegas, Nev.
- Won his debut singles match in straight sets over Alexander Roggenkamp of Grand Canyon 6-3, 6-4 in the round of 16 ... lost in quarterfinals, before regrouping to defeat Northern Arizona’s Thomas Fisher in two sets 7-6 (6), 6-4.
- In doubles earned a split while playing with Abe Hewko in Las Vegas winning a consolation match 8-7 (5) over UNLV’s Alexander Cozbinov and Rhett Boss.
PRIOR TO BOISE STATE
- Came to Boise from Dallas, Texas.
- Was ranked No. 74 nationally by TennisRecruiting.com who also listed him as a four-star recruit.
- One of the top juniors in Texas ranking as high as third in the state for his age group ... singles champion at Texas Excellence 18’s ... doubles finalist in 18’s Texas Grand Slam Sectional.
- On the national scene he won the back draw at the 2014 United State Tennis Association’s National Selection Tournament in Honnolulu.
- Earned victories over the No. 20 and No. 47 ranked players in the nation ... went 31-17 in 2014 going 2-4 versus “Blue-Chip” recruits, 2-4 against “Five-Star” recruits and 13-7 versus “Four Star.”
- Was a doubles semifinalist at the Waco ITF tournament ... a finalist at ITF Grade 4 Trinidad & Tobago tournament.
