Was dominant in the circle as a senior for Golden Valley HS, going 17-4 on the season with an ERA of 1.41 . . . was also solid at the plate in her final prep season, batting .426 with 17 RBI and seven doubles . . . helped lead Golden Valley to an appearance in the CIF-SS playoffs . . . a four-time letter winner in softball and three-time scholar athlete . . . struck out 509 batters over the final three years of her prep career . . . went 12-9 as a junior, leading her team in strikeouts . . . two-time member on the All-SCV team . . . named the Most Memorable Female Athlete from Los Angeles County.
