Preslie Hewitt joined the Boise State softball staff in July 2023 as a graduate assistant.
Hewitt played at Nevada (2020-22) before beginning her coaching career as a volunteer assistant at Louisiana Tech in 2023. The Lady Techsters were 32-24 in Hewitt's lone season in Ruston.
A native of Pleasant Grove, Calif., Hewitt played softball for three seasons at Nevada (2020-22) and a was a three-time Mountain West All-Academic honoree. She earned a bachelor's degree at Nevada in 2022.
