A native of Spring, Texas, Grant attended Conroe Grand Oaks High School. In the 2025 UIL 6A Region II, he posted a personal best in discus (202'0"), and in the 2025 UIL 6A Area Meet posted his farthest throw in the shot put (59' 7"). Grant was named the 2025 Texas UIL 6A State Champion in discus. He was ranked No.10 among the US high schoolers in discus (2025 season).
