2014 - SOPHOMORE HIGHLIGHTS

Kinghorn competes in two-sports both indoor and sand volleyball for Boise State.
Member of the 2014 inaugural sand volleyball team at Boise State.
Saw action in 10 matches recording a 5-5 overall mark competing at numerous positions throughout the lineup from the No. 3 to No. 5 positions.
Tied with Aly Duffin and Taylor Murphey for the team-high in victories with five.
Went 1-0 at No. 3 pairs with Casey Rose, 2-5 at No. 4 (1-1 with Duffin, 1-1 with Murphey and 0-3 with Rose) and 2-0 at No. 5 with Duffin.
While paired with Duffin recorded three victories for the Broncos at the Sacramento State Invitational against Cal Poly (April 4) 22-20, 21-14 at the four pairs, Pacific (April 5) 21-9, 21-18 at the five and Sacramento State (April 6) 21-14, 21-18 playing at No. 5 pairs.
The win over Cal Poly's duo helped the Broncos win their first ever sand volleyball match.
When teamed up with Murphey the pair won at the No. 4 position over Washington (April 12) 21-17, 21-12 helping Boise State to a 3-2 victory.
Along with Casey Rose the duo rallied after dropping first set to claim a three-set victory on the road at Grand Canyon (April 25) in Phoenix, Ariz., over the Antelopes' No. 3 pair 19-21, 21-9, 15-12.

RIGBY HIGH SCHOOL

2011 graduate of Rigby High School in Rigby, Idaho.
Four-year starter for the Trojan volleyball team ... played outside hitter and middle blocker during her career.
Helped Trojans to a one-loss season and a 4A Idaho State runner-up finish in 2010 ... in 2007 and 2008 she was a member of the fourth-place team at state.
VOLLEYBALL HONORS: Voted league player of the year, best district player and first-team all-state as a senior ... was a member of the all-star team.
OTHER HONORS: also lettered in basketball and track at RHS ... helped her basketball team to its first district title in 30 years ... named first team all-state in basketball ... named the Local News 8 (Idaho Falls/Pocatello) Female Athlete of the Year ... graduated with high honors.

CLUB TEAM

Played club volleyball for the IFJ Juniors (Idaho Falls) where she was a starter and captain for two seasons.

PERSONAL

Earned overseas experience by playing in the European Global Challenge at Pula, Croatia, as a member of an American high performance team from the Intermountain Volleyball Association during the summer of 2013.
