2014 - SOPHOMORE HIGHLIGHTS

Murphey is a two-sport athlete participating in both indoor and sand volleyball for Boise State.
Was a member of the 2014 inaugural sand volleyball team for the Broncos.
Saw action in 10 matches with one forfeit victory for a 5-5 overall mark competing primarily at the fourth and fifth positions.
Tied with Aly Duffin and Katelyn Kinghorn for the team-high in victories with five.
Went 0-1 at No. 3 pairs with Casey Rose, 2-2 at No. 4 (1-1 with Rose and 1-1 with Kinghorn) and 3-2 at No. 5 (1-0 with Rose and 2-2 with Izzy Miller).
While paired with Casey Rose the duo went 2-2 at the Sacramento State Invitational (April 4-6) including a 21-16, 21-13 win over Cal Poly's (April 4) No. 5 pair to help Broncos win their first ever team match ... also defeated Sacramento State's (April 6) fourth team in two sets 21-9, 21-14.
Teamed with Katelyn Kinghorn to defeat Washington's (April 12) No. 4 pair 21-17, 21-12 and helped Broncos win 3-2 over the Huskies.
Closed the season teaming up with freshman Izzy Miller at No. 5 pair on the four-match road trip to Arizona (April 25-26) going 2-2 ... recorded victories over Grand Canyon's (April 25) No. 5 duo by rallying from one set down to win in three sets 14-21, 21-9, 15-12, as well as earning a forfeit win over Arizona (April 26).

Helped the Warriors to three of five-straight 4A/3A Utah State Championships ... led the team in kills, blocks and digs in 2010 ... helped team to a 32-1 record in 2010.
VOLLEYBALL HONORS: Three-time state all-tournament team honoree ... three-time Region 9 First Team honoree ... three-time Salt Lake Tribune All-State First Team honoree ... two-time Deseret News All-State First Team honoree, as well as one second team honor.

CLUB TEAM

An eight-year member of Southern Utah Volleyball Academy (club).
Played on three teams 16-under through 18-under that qualifier for the 2010 Junior Nationals.
