HONORS - Member of Mountain West Conference Championship Team ... CSCAA Honorable-Mention Scholar All-American, Academic All-Mountain West, Mountain West Scholar-Athlete (maintained a 3.5 or better GPA) ... HIGHLIGHTS - First meet as a Bronco was the dual with Idaho (Oct. 7) where she placed seventh in the 100 free (55.47) and fourth in the 50 free (24.79) ... swam a personal-best time in the 50 free (23.59) at the Art Adamson Invitational (Nov. 16), clocked a 51.31 in the 100 free and a 1:55.66 in the 200 free, both season bests at the time ... at the Mountain West Championships (Feb. 14-17) at San Antonio, Texas, swam a personal-best 1:55.31 in the 200 free, recorded a 23.74 in the 50 free and a 51.77 in the 100 free.

HIGH SCHOOL

Almeter, a sprint freestyle specialist, swam for Texas Ford Aquatics and put together some top-15 finishes at July’s Speedo Champions Series event. At the event in Austin, Almeter took ninth in the 50 free (27.64) and 14th in the 100 free (1:01.40).
