Swimming & Diving Earns 19th-Consecutive CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Honor

BOISE, Idaho - Boise State's swimming and diving program has been named a College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team for the 19th-consecutive semester. The Broncos have been impressive in the classroom over the years since the program was established in the fall of 2006 and have earn this award in 22 of 28 semesters to date.

This past spring the team recorded a cumulative GPA of 3.72 and saw 25 members record a 3.0 GPA or better, 10 had 4.0s. Last fall the team turned in a 3.56 with five Broncos tallying 4.0s.

Boise State was one of 461 schools to receive the award for the spring semester, all 10 Mountain West schools that sponsor the sport were present on the list. Teams were selected on the basis of their spring grade point averages.

The CSCAA recognizes teams with this award for achieving a combined team GPA of 3.0 or higher. Founded in 1922, the CSCAA — the oldest organization of college coaches in America — is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.
