2018-19: CROSS COUNTRY- Was member of the varsity lineup for the entire season, saw action in five meets in his last cross country season . . . was the team’s No. 4 runner at the season opener, placing fourth in 24:25.4 at the Sundodger Invitational (Sept. 8) . . . the fourth runner across the line for Boise State at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational, finished 45th in 23:58.9 (Sept. 28) . . . placed 17th at the Mountain West Championships to miss all-conference honors by three spots. Ran 25:12.3 as Boise State’s sixth runner on the conference title squad (Oct. 26) . . . placed 48th (30:36.2) for the Broncos in his first 10k at the West Region Championships (Nov. 9) . . . ran 32:00.9 for 10k at the NCAA National Championships as the team’s sixth runner (Nov. 17) . . . INDOOR- Did not compete . . . OUTDOOR- Opened his final season with a runner-up finish in his heat of the 1500m, running 3:48.91 at the Stanford Invitational (March 29-30) . . . got the victory in the 1,500-meter at the Sun Angel Classic in 3:49.65 (April 5-6) . . . season best in the 1,500-meter was a 3:47.43 at the Bryan Clay Invite (April 17-19) . . . took fifth at the conference championship in the 1,500-meter to score four points, also appearing in the 5,000-meter (May 8-11) . . . appeared in the 800m at the Border Clash (April 26-27) and the 1,500-meter at the Portland Twilight (May 3).

2017-18: CROSS COUNTRY- Appeared in two meets on the season . . . was fifth at the Charles Bowles Invitational, running 25:14.2 for 8k (Sept. 30) . . . was one spot shy of the top 10 at the Inland Empire Challenge, racing to 11th (Oct. 14) . . . INDOOR- Had a bounce-back year that saw him run the second-fastest mile in school history, while also scoring at the conference championship . . . scored three points with a sixth-place finish in the mile at the Mountain West Championships. Also ran the 3,000m (Feb. 22-24) . . . posted a personal best and the second-fastest mile time in school history with a time of 4:03.93 at the Husky Classic (Feb. 9-10) . . . ran an eight second personal best to take 18th in the 3,000m in 8:09.70 at the UW Invitational (Jan. 26-27) . . . finished sixth in the mile in 4:13.48 at the Ed Jacoby Invitational (Jan. 12-13), just off his indoor personal best . . . OUTDOOR- Scored a point with an eighth-place finish in the 1,500m (3:50.47) at the Mountain West Championships (May 9-12), while also competing in the 5,000m . . . opened the season with a 14:32.30 in the 5,000m at the Stanford Invitational (March 30-31) . . . also competed in the 1,500m at the Bryan Clay Invitational (April 5-7) and Border Clash (April 27-28), with his season best of 3:48.47 coming at the Bryan Clay Invitational.

2016-17: CROSS COUNTRY - Competed in three races in his sophomore XC campaign…was 14th at the Sagebrush Invitational, concluding the 7K race in 21:33.51…148th at the Roy Griak Invitational (27:02.0) on the 8-kilometer course…was just outside the top 50 in the Wisconsin Invitational “B” Race (51st), running a 26:21.7...INDOOR – Competed in five meets in the indoor season, excelling in mainly the mile…opened the year at the Ed Jacoby Invitational and helped the DMR team clock a 10:17.13…ran a season-best 8:46.52 in the 3k at the UW Invitational…13th in the 800m (1:59.28) at the Jacksons/NB Indoor Invitational…ran a 4:12.57 in the mile at the Husky Classic…ran in both the 3,000m (8:47.58) and the mile (4:17.13) at the conference championships…OUTDOOR – Did not compete.

2015-16: CROSS COUNTRY - Two meets over the course of the year saw two top-10 finishes…sixth at the Utah Open, running a 19:51.1 6k at the Utah Open…ran in a 7k at the Utah State Invitational, recording a 20:24.2 for ninth place...INDOOR – Competed in primarily distance events (800m, mile and 3,000m) in his sophomore indoor season…ran a 4:16.40 in the mile at the Ed Jacoby Invite to take eighth place…took 11th in the 4x400m (3:47.79) at the Bronco Invite…had arguably his best two week stretch of the season starting at the UW Invitational, running a career-best 4:11.74 in the mile…followed it up with a 8:17.46 in the 3,000m at the Husky Classic…took part in the MW Indoor Track and Field Championships and fared best in the mile, taking eighth place (4:17.27)...OUTDOOR – Made it to the NCAA West Preliminary Round in the 1,500m in his sophomore campaign where he took 26th with a time of 3:47.24…he punched his ticket to regionals earlier in the season at the Oregon Twilight, where he clocked a career-best 3:44.77 to qualify and take third in a competitive field…placed sixth (3:52.63) in the 1,500m at the conference championships, also competed in the 5,000m (14:44.94)…finished sixth in the 800m at the Border Clash, crossing the line in 1:53.17…competed at the Stanford Twilight and took 22nd in the 1,500m (3:47.47)…began the season at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival and PR’d in the 5,000m thanks to a 14:21.17.

2014-15: INDOOR - Raced in four meets...had a season and career best time of 4:21.40 in the mile at the Ed Jacoby Invite and an 8:52.26 in the 3,000m...competed at the MW Indoor Championships in the mile and the DMR...helped the DMR team to a podium finish with their fourth-place finish in 10:08.93...OUTDOOR - competed in four meets...ran a season and personal best of 3:55.02 in the 1,500m at the Bryan Clay Invitational (Apr. 17)...placed 15th in the 1,500m at the MW Outdoor Championships (3:59.83)...placed 20th in the 5,000m at the MW Championships in a personal-best time of 15:02.57.

PRIOR CAREER
Began competitive running in 2009 with Athletics Nelson and the National Academy of Distance Running...won a silver medal in the 3,000m at the 2011 New Zealand Secondary Schools Championships...won a bronze medal at the 2013 New Zealand Junior 3,000m Championships and a silver medal in the 1,500m at the M18 2013 New Zealand Track and Field Championships...placed third at both the 2014 New Zealand Junior 3,000m Championships and in the 1,500m at the U20 2014 New Zealand Track and Field Championships...Lautenslager's father, Greg, ran for Texas Tech University and competed in four U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials...mother, Debbie, won New Zealand titles in the 5,000m and the 10,000m and represented New Zealand in five World Cross Country Championships.
