2015-16: CROSS COUNTRY - Logged experience at the NCAA National Championships as a freshman, taking 203rd in the last 10k of the year (32:01.7)…34th at the Mountain West Championships after running a 28:12.3…Fastest 8k of the year came at the Wisconsin adidas Invitational (25:05.3) where he took 195th place…took third at the Utah Open in the first meet of the year (19:29.7)…clocked a 25:50.0 and took 38th at the Roy Griak Invitational...INDOOR - Redshirted...OUTDOOR – Ran in the 1,500m and the 5,000m in his first outdoor season…enjoyed a top-10 finish at the conference championships in the 1,500m, finishing in 10th with a time career-best time of 3:59.42…also participated in the 5,000m (15:12.76) and took 27th at conference…enjoyed his best 5,000m time of the year at the Stanford Twilight, crossing the line in 14:30.64…he also participated in the 1,500m (4:01.90) and finished in ninth…opened the year at the San Francisco State Distance Carnival, ran a 14:49.84 in the 5K.
PREP: John Rodeheffer joins the Broncos as an 11-time state qualifier between cross country and track and field while competing at Oak Harbor High School. He was a six-time WESCO League Champion in cross country and track and field. He finished third in both the 1,600m and the 3,200m at the Washington Track and Field State Championships and placed fourth in the Washington Cross Country State Championships his senior season.
