Inducted into the Boise State Hall of Fame in 1984

Gus Urresti competed for Boise Junior College prior to any conference or league affiliation. He was an outstanding football player and represents an era of the very early history of the Boise State University athletic program. He was a tough football player who exemplified the type of athlete who has helped build the Bronco football tradition. Gus continued to support the Broncos following his athletic career and to many people in the community his name is synonymous with Boise State football.
