BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Boise State soccer earned a 2-0 shutout over Cal State Bakersfield on Thursday, led by freshman Campbell Wilson's second career brace.

The Broncos (5-1-1) made an immediate impact, finding the back of the net less than two minutes into the match. Wilson capitalized on a ricocheted touch from Mia Lane, firing the ball into the goal to give Boise State an early 1-0 lead.

Goalkeeper Ava de Leest recorded two saves in the opening half, making her first stop in the 14th minute before adding another in the 30th. Boise State controlled the pace offensively, outshooting Cal State Bakersfield (1-6) 11-5 to take a 1-0 advantage into halftime.

Wilson doubled the Broncos' lead in the 72nd minute, placing a shot into the upper-right corner of the net from just outside the box to complete her brace.

De Leest finished with six saves, while the Bronco defense limited the Roadrunners to 10 shots throughout the match as Boise State secured its fifth win of the season.
