Cross Country Finishes Second at the West Coast Preview

PORTLAND, Ore. The Boise State men’s and women’s cross country teams each collected second place finishes, Friday, at the West Coast Preview in Portland, Ore.
Junior Breanna Sande led the women, finishing in fourth place with a 21:59.0 on the 6,000-meter course. Chaly Jones collected eight points for the Broncos as she finished with a 22:32.0, while Carly Gerard finished 13th with a 22:52.0. Rounding out the scoring for
Freshman Sawyer Bosch finished in fifth place with a 25:34.2 on the 8,000-meter course to lead the Broncos in scoring. Fellow freshman Kevin Higgs also earned a top 10 time finishing the race in 25:43.1 for eighth place. Senior Cody Eaton collected 12 points as he finished the race in 25:59.0. Also earning points for the Broncos was Scott Foley in 18th (26:19.2) and Stanley Chebii in 28th with a 26:56.2.
