Boise State Cross Country Announces 2026 Schedule

BOISE, Idaho - Boise State Cross Country head coach Pat McCurry announced the team's schedule for the 2026 season, Tuesday. 

The Broncos are set to compete in three regular season meets starting with the Roy Griak Invitational on Friday, Sept. 18 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. 

Following the first weekend of competition, the team will compete at two concurrent events on Oct. 9. A majority of the team will compete in the Dr. Thad Scholes Invitational in Twin Falls, Idaho while select members will compete in the Nuttycombe Invitational in Madison, Wisconsin.

On Oct. 30 the Broncos will host the 2026 Pac-12 Cross Country Championships at Warm Springs Golf Course. The event marks the first championship event that Boise State will compete in as members of the Pac-12. 

Sacramento, California will be the home for the second-straight year of the NCAA West Regional, taking place on Nov. 13. The NCAA Championships will take place on Nov. 21 at Indiana State in Terre Haute, Indiana. 

The women's team received an at-large bid to nationals after their top three finish at the NCAA West Regional last season. On the men's side, Alex Thompson finished in 10th place (29:33.0) and Patrick Kiprop finished in 14th (29:46.4) on the national stage.
