2012 Boise State University Competitive Swimming Camp June 7-9, 2012
Camp Format:
This camp is competitive between the ages of 9 and 18 years and is structured to focus on the skills of competitive swimming strategies and techniques. This is not a "learn to swim camp"- swimmers will need to have a background in the 4 competitive strokes. Swimmers will be divided to learn and practice with peers of their similar age/skill levels. Each competitive stroke will be analyzed and video recorded, along with competitive dives and turns. Race strategy and pre/post-race preparation will also be addressed throughout the camp.

Registration
Please register online at www.broncosports.com beginning mid-February. Registration will close at MIDNIGHT on WEDNSEDAY, MAY 16th!
Medical/Age Information
The camp is designed for competitive swimmers ages 9-18 years old. Campers must have their complete medical information on file before you are allowed to participate. Make sure you fill out all fields online in order to ensure you are allowed into camp. Campers must submit a copy of the medical insurance card BEFORE CAMP BEGINS (i.e. a copy of your insurance card to submit at check-in that we can keep on file, and MUST INCLUDE COPIES OF THE FRONT AND BACK OF THE CARD).
Staff
The Boise State University Swimming Staff is involved in coaching all campers. Our staff also will include current and former Boise State Broncos swimmers.

9:00am-9:45am Check in at Boise State Kines-Annex pool
10:00-12:00 First Practice Session
Noon-1pm: Lunch
1:00pm-2:30pm Group Activity
3:00pm-5:30pm Second Session
6:00-700pm Dinner- Goal Setting session
Friday, June 8th:
9-11 a.m. Third Session
11:30 a.m. Team Activiy/Lunch
2-3:30 p.m. Video Analysis/Starts and Turns
4-5 p.m. Break/Activity/Dinner
5:30-7:30 p.m. Fourth Session
Saturday, June 9th
9-11 a.m. Fifth Session

12:30-2:00 p.m. Video Analysis/Starts and Turns
2:00-3:00 p.m. Team activity/Eval
3:15-5:00 p.m. Sixth Session

Payment Options:
Camp payments are to be made during online registration with the Boise State University bookstore. If you need to pay with another method please contact Justin BEFORE you begin registration.
Check-In: 9:00am-9:45am at the Boise State Kines-Annex Pool lobby- located on Bronco Circle on the Boise State Campus.
Airport Transportation:
Airport transportation is available free of charge to and from the Boise International Airport, located 10 minutes from campus. Anyone wishing to utilize this service must fill out the transportation form during online registration.
Accommodations:
Accommodations will not be provided by Boise State Swimming, campers from out of town will need to set up their own hotel arrangements. We have included a list of local hotels that are extremely close to the Boise State campus.
