Bosch and Porter Sweep Weekly WAC Honors

Boise State's Sawyer Bosch and Shannon Porter have been named the Western Athletic Conference men and women's Cross Country Athletes of the Week, respectively, for Sept. 21-27.
Bosch, a junior from Portland, Oregon (Borah HS), was Boise State's top finisher at the Bob Firman Invitational at Eagle Island State Park last week. Bosch crossed the finish line in third place overall out of 68 runners with an 8K time of 25:44.72. Bosch's time helped the Broncos to the team title.
Porter, a freshman from Hockinson, Wash. (Hockinson HS), placed second outof 74 competitors at the Bob Firman Invitational. Porter placed second witha 5K time of 18:05.47, helping her team to a third place finish.
