
MW Coaches Pick Bronco Swimming & Diving Second

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-Boise State women's swimming and diving was picked to finish second in the Mountain West, Friday, by a vote of the conference coaches. The Broncos, entering their first season in the Mountain West, earned two of the eight first-place votes in the preseason poll.
Defending conference champion San Diego State was picked to repeat.
Boise State won back-to-back Western Athletic Conference Championships in 2010 and 2011 before joining the Mountain West prior to this season.
The Broncos open the season Saturday, Oct. 8, against Idaho at 11:30 a.m. (MT), at the Boise-West Family YMCA.
Boise State will host three dual meets against conference opponents before the MW Championships Feb. 22-25, in Oklahoma City. The Broncos welcome New Mexico (Oct. 14 and 15) and Colorado State (Jan. 28) to the West YMCA during the season.
