Broncos and Huskies to Meet in MAACO Bowl Las Vegas
12/17/2012 12:00:00 AM | Football
Kickoff for this year's game at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas is 12:30 p.m. (PT). The game will be televised by ESPN.
Boise State is one of just 10 teams nationally to play in 10-or-more consecutive bowl games. This will mark the 11th-straight season the Broncos have played in a postseason bowl game, and the 12th time in the past 13 years. Boise State has a three-game bowl winning streak, and a record of 8-4 in bowl games as a Football Bowl Subdivision member.
Washington completed its regular season with an overall record of 7-5 and finished fourth in the North Division of the Pac-12 with a 5-4 record. The Huskies dropped their regular finale with a 31-28 overtime loss at Washington State on Nov. 23.
This will mark only the second time Boise State has faced the Huskies on the football field. The previous meeting was in 2007 with Washington recording a 24-10 victory in Seattle.
