Jessup Leads Broncos Past Presbyterian

BOISE, Idaho (AP) Justinian Jessup scored a career-high 20 points to help Boise State beat Presbyterian 82-56 Friday night, at Taco Bell Arena. Jessup, a freshman, notched the first 20-point game of his career on just 10 shots.

Nick Duncan hit a 3-pointer with three seconds left in the first half to cap a 16-6 run and give Boise State a 44-22 halftime lead. The Broncos made 7-of-17 3-pointers in the first half.

Boise State cruised in the second half, leading by as many as 32. Paris Austin and Chandler Hutchison each scored 12 points to join Jessup in double figures. Eleven Broncos scored on the night.

Austin's 12 points came on 4-of-4 shooting from the floor. He has now made 15 of his last 16 field goal attempts, spanning three games.

Hutchison grabbed a game-high seven rebounds. He has led the Broncos in rebounding all five games. Robin Jorch added a career-best six boards in 10 minutes of action.

Boise State shot 23-for-26 from the free throw line and committed a season-low 10 turnovers.

Austin Venable led Presbyterian (2-3) with 11 points. Reggie Dillard and Ruben Arroyo each scored 10 points. Jo'Vontae Millner, the Blue Hose leader at 12.8 points per game, was held scoreless on four field-goal attempts.
