Broncos head north for the Husky Invitational

BOISE, Idaho- A quick start to the season has the Broncos headed to Sammamish, Wash., for the Husky Invitational hosted by the University of Washington. The team is making its second start in as many weeks, coming off a tie for sixth place at the Showdown in the Rockies this past Tuesday. This will be the Broncos' first visit to the Husky Invitational since 2015, where they look to improve on that trip's 12th-place finish.

Junior Brian Humphreys struggled early last week at Showdown in the Rockies but bounced back on day two to log the tenth top-10 finish of his career. Rookie Hugo Townsend kicked his career off with a top-15 finish last week and he looks to carry that momentum into the Husky Invitational.

Schedule: The tournament will be 54-hole event played over two days (Sept. 25-26). The first two rounds will be played Tuesday with the final round being played on Wednesday.

The Course: The Husky Invitational will be held at Aldarra Golf Club in Sammamish, Washington. The course will play as a par-71 measuring out to 6,911 yards.
