LAKEWOOD, Wash. - Junior Lexi Perry birdied four of her final 11 holes Monday, carding a 1-under 71 in the second round of the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invite to close the day tied for 12th on the individual leaderboard.

As a team, the Broncos are tied for 13th, at +33 (306-303=609), with Utah Valley after two rounds. Gonzaga leads the field at 10-under.

"Lexi did a really good job making her putts and avoiding big numbers today. She put herself in a very good position to move up the leaderboard tomorrow, and contend for another top-five finish," said Boise State head coach Nicole Bird.

"As a team, we ran into big numbers early, and that put us in a tough hole. We managed to come back with a few more birdies in the second round, and we'll try to build off of that tomorrow," Bird continued.

Perry bogeyed her second and third holes of the opening round before carding pars over the final 15 holes, closing with a 74 (+2). Her steady play continued into the afternoon, with seven pars to open the second round, before birdies at Nos. 5 and 8 brought her back to even for the tournament.

The junior bounced up-and-down over the next five holes, balancing out two bogeys with two more birdies, before a bogey at the par-3 No. 15 took her into the clubhouse with a 71 for the round, and at 1-over (74-71=145) for the tournament. She'll chase Gonzaga's Quynn Duong for medalist honors Tuesday, as Duong shot matching rounds of 69 to take a three-stroke lead over the rest of the field at 6-under.

Gonzaga also topped the team leaderboard after Monday's two rounds, finishing the day at 8-under (290-278=568).

Junior Nicole Suppelsa had matching rounds of 76 to end the day at 8-over (76-76=152) and in a tie for 43rd. Senior Valentine Lacaze ended the day at 11-over (77-78=155), redshirt senior Ivane Helias (79-78=157) was at 13-over, and sophomore Cora Mickelsen rounded out the quintet at 29-over (89-84=173).
