Broncos Fall at No. 12 Colorado State

FORT COLLINS, Colo.- The Boise State volleyball team fell in three Saturday afternoon at 12th-ranked Colorado State 25-21, 25-19, 25-15 in Fort Collins. The loss moved Boise State to 16-11 overall and 8-8 in MW play, while the Rams clinched the conference championship with the win while improving to 26-1 on the year and 16-0 Â in league.
The Broncos fell victim to the Rams experience and size as Colorado State took control and grew more dominant as the match progressed. Boise State was held to a season-low in hitting at minus-7.3 percent while CSU finished at 25 percent. The Rams also out blocked the Blue and Orange 16 to seven.
Lauren Ohlinger led the Broncos with a team-high six kills with two service aces and two blocks. Shae Duffy followed with five kills.
Alyssa Wissinger and Jessica Donahue each had three kills, as well as, four and three blocks, respectively.Â
Boise State will close out the regular season next week when they host Fresno State Thursday night, then San Diego State for senior day on Saturday.
