â—Ź WHAT'S HAPPENING: Boise State (16-11, 8-8 MW) closes the regular season this week when the Broncos host Fresno State and San Diego State. ● THURSDAY: Boise State opens the week with Fresno State (13-15, 6-10 MW) on Thursday at 7 p.m. (Mountain) in Bronco Gym. This is the second meeting of the year between the two with the Broncos winning 3-0 at Fresno  on Oct. 26. Â
â—Ź SATURDAY: The Broncos will close the regular season with Senior Day against the San Diego State Aztecs (14-13, 7-9 MW) at 2 p.m. (MT) on Saturday. Boise State won the first meeting at San Diego in five sets.Â
BOISE STATE NOTES
BOISE STATE'S RECORDâ—Ź Boise State enters the final week of the season at 16-11 overall and 8-8 (fourth place) in MW play.
â—Ź Boise State's three nonconference losses came against teams ranked in the top-21 at the time of the match: at No. 9 BYU, vs. No. 16 Marquette in Provo, Utah, and at No. 21 Missouri.
● Boise State is 0-5 against top-25 teams this season adding two losses  to Colorado State to the three ranked nonconference opponents.

BRONCOS CLINCH WINNING SEASON
â—Ź The Broncos' 16 victories clinched a winning season for the program.
â—Ź This marks the sixth-straight winning season for the team and the ninth under head coach Shawn Garus in 11 years.
NATIONALLY RANKED IN BLOCKS
â—Ź The Broncos are ranked fourth nationally and second in the Mountain West for blocks per set at 2.94, as well as first in league and fifth nationally for total blocks with 294.0, ranked 11th for a season in program history.

â—Ź They rank fourth in the MW for opponents' hitting percentage at .194.

DONAHUE ANCHORING THE BLUE WALL
â—Ź Last year, Jessica Donahue led the Broncos with 135 blocks to rank 14th in a season all-time at Boise State.
â—Ź In 2019 she leads once again with 151 blocks entering the week to rank first in the MW and eighth nationally.
â—Ź On the year, she is first in the MW and fourth in NCAA for blocks per set at 1.54.Â
â—Ź In MW play, she has a league-high 107 blocks and leads with 1.73 per set ... she has tallied at least six in 11 of 16 MW matches and has a high of 12 versus Nevada (Oct. 3).

WISSINGER ON THE WALL
â—Ź Has led the team in blocks seven times on the year.
â—Ź She recorded a team and career-high 10 blocks in the loss to 14th-ranked CSU (Oct. 17).
â—Ź Wissinger has 92 blocks on the year to ranked second on the team and 59 in MW play.
â—Ź She is the second Bronco this year with 10 or more blocks in a match, Donahue has three this year.
OHLINGER SHINING IN DEBUT SEASON
â—Ź True freshman Lauren Ohlinger leads the team in kills with 289 for a 2.89 per set average ... she is fourth on the team in digs with 240 (2.4 dps), fifth in blocks with 58 and first in points with 349.0.
â—Ź Ohlinger has led the team in points 10 times and in kills on 11 occasions, including seven straight entering the week.
â—Ź The freshman has recorded double-digit kills in 13 contests to date, including 10 in conference play.
â—Ź She had a career-high 22 kills in the victory at New Mexico (Oct. 3) ... had 21 kills in the home win over UNM (Nov. 9).
â—Ź Ohlinger enters the week as one of four Broncos who has recorded a double-double on the season with eight to her name in 2019.Â
BOSS AT SETTERÂ
â—Ź On the year she has 993 assists on the year to rank 16th all-time in program history for a single season ... she is seven short of becoming the 16th Bronco in history to reach the 1,000 assists in a season milestone.Â
â—Ź Boss is third in the MW on the year for assists per set at 9.93 ... in league play she has 595 assists to rank third and averages 9.60 per set to rank fifth.
â—Ź The sophomore has 262 digs to rank third on the team ... she averages 2.62 per set, third on team.Â

HEAD COACH SHAWN GARUS
â—Ź Boise State's 3-0 win at Fresno State (Oct. 26) handed coach Garus his 300th career victory.
