BOISE, Idaho - Boise State travels to Louisville to face the No. 8/9 Cardinals for the third-straight season. The Broncos have another home-road week ahead, hosting Utah Valley Tuesday, Nov. 26, before traveling to TCU to face the Horned Frogs at the 2019 Maggie Dixon Classic.

LAST TIME OUT
Boise State dropped its second contest at home Wednesday, falling 80-68 to Washington State.

The two home losses this season, to Missouri State (Nov. 10) and Washington State, already exceed last season's total (one).

The Broncos could not overcome a cold start from the field, as the team combined to go 3-for-17 in the opening quarter. Washington State, meanwhile, shot a Bronco opponent season-high 54.8 percent, led by 25 points on 12-for-17 shooting from Borislava Hristova.

Braydey Hodgins led the Broncos with a season-high 20 points, and was the only Bronco to score in double figures. Sophomore center Rachel Bowers added nine points and four rebounds off the bench.

WHO'S NEXT
No. 8/9 Louisville (4-0) comes into Sunday's contest fresh off an 86-37 rout of Chattanooga Thursday.

Point guard Dana Evans leads the Cardinals with 18.3 points per game, with Jazmine Jones right behind her at 13.3 points and a team-best 4.00 assists a game.

Kylee Shook leads the Cardinals with 9.8 rebounds per game while scoring 10.5 points per game.

SERIES HISTORY
Sunday's contest marks the third-straight season in which the Broncos and Cardinals have faced off.

The teams clashed in the NCAA Tournament First Round two years ago, with the top-seeded Cardinals pulling away in the third quarter en route to a 74-42 win.

Last Nov. 19, the fifth-ranked Cardinals traveled to Boise, where the teams played a seesaw first half which saw them separated by just three points, 27-24 in favor of Louisville, at the break. But a 7-1 run to open the second half helped the Cardinals open it up and grab a 74-55 victory.

ON THE ROAD
Boise State is 1-0 on the road already this season, capturing an 83-81 victory at UAB in a Preseason WNIT consolation game back on Nov. 15.

Last year, the Broncos went 14-4 away from home, with five of those wins being on neutral courts.

HODGINS WORKING HER WAY BACK
Senior guard Braydey Hodgins started the season just 6-for-22 from the field through three games, before starting the warm up over the past two.

Hodgins has averaged 19.5 points while shooting 47.8 percent (11-for-23) over the last two games, and has fought her way to the line, going 15-for-19. After scoring 19 points at UAB, she dropped her 11th-career 20-point game Wednesday against Washington State, finishing right at the number.

THE HODGINS HUSTLE
Despite her struggles from the field as the 2019-20 season got underway, senior Braydey Hodgins was still finding ways to help the team with the hustle stats.

In addition to getting to the line a team-best 27 times this season, Hodgins is averaging 4.0 rebounds and 5.00 assists per game, with a pair of six-assist games.

AVOIDING CONSECUTIVE LOSSES
Boise State will have a tall task ahead of it Sunday against No. 8/9 Louisville if it is to avoid losing consecutive games for the first time in nearly two years.

The last time Boise State dropped two in a row was Jan. 3 and 6, 2018, with losses at New Mexico (100-83) and against Wyoming (66-51).

DEAL 'EM UP
Redshirt senior point guard Jayde Christopher passed out seven assists in Wednesday's loss to Washington State, the third time this season she's hit that figure. In fact, only once this season (Nov. 15 at UAB) has Christopher failed to pass out at least six helpers.

With 30 assists already this season (6.00 per game), Christopher, a transfer from Kansas, is following up well on a debut 2018-19 with Boise State in which she passed out 182 helpers, the third-highest total in program single-season history.

GET LUPFER GOING
One of the keys to Boise State's success is getting senior guard and program all-time leader in 3-pointers Riley Lupfer going from deep.

Lupfer, who hit her 261st 3-pointer Nov. 15 at UAB to pass Abby Vaughan (1999-2003) and become Boise State's all-time leader, currently sits at 264. However, she went just 2-for-7 from deep and was held to six points Wednesday against Washington State.

Over the two wins against Division I schools this season, Lupfer is a combined 11-for-21 (52.4 percent) from 3-point range, 13-for-23 (56.5 percent) from the field, and averaging 18.5 points.
