KISSIMMEE, Fla. - Boise State men's basketball will participate in the 2020 Orlando Invitational, ESPN Events announced Wednesday. The Broncos will be joined by Auburn, Belmont, Gonzaga, Michigan State, Saint Louis, Siena and Xavier. The tournament takes place Thursday, Nov. 26 through Sunday, Nov. 29, at HP Field House at ESPN Wide World of Sports near Orlando, Fla.

"It's going to be the premiere holiday tournament next year," said Boise State head coach Leon Rice. "You've got great teams, a great venue and a great place to travel to. Make your Thanksgiving plans now."

Four of the eight teams in the field are ranked in the most recent Associated Press Top 25 Poll: No. 3 Michigan State, No. 8 Gonzaga, No. 18 Auburn and No. 25 Xavier. The bracket and matchups for the 2020 tournament will be released at a later date.

The 2020 Orlando Invitational will mark the seventh major early-season tournament in eight years for Boise State. In addition to the upcoming 2019 Diamond Head Classic (Dec. 22-25), the Broncos participated in the 2018 Cayman Islands Classic, 2017 Puerto Rico Tip-Off at Myrtle Beach, 2016 Charleston Classic, 2015 Wooden Legacy and 2013 Diamond Head Classic.

Additional information, including travel packages, can be found on the Orlando Invitational web site.

The Broncos have never faced Auburn, Belmont, Saint Louis or Xavier. They have faced Siena and Michigan State each three times, most recently squaring off against the Spartans in a 2015 Wooden Legacy semifinal. Boise State and Gonzaga have met 34 times, but not since 2000.
