Forward joins Boise State’s 2026-27 incoming freshman class

BOISE, Idaho — Boise State men's basketball has signed forward Kaur Tomann, it was announced on Wednesday.

"Kaur (pronounced: car) is going to be an outstanding addition to the Boise State basketball family," said associate head coach Mike Burns. "He led his home country of Estonia to a 7-1 record in the FIBA U18 European Championships last summer, scoring 54 total points in the final two rounds of competition. He's a very versatile player who can contribute at multiple positions for the Broncos."

Tomann is the newest addition to the Broncos' 2026-27 freshman class. He joins Brady Hennig, who committed to Boise State on National Signing Day in November.

A native of Estonia, Tomann has played for the U16 and U18 men's national team in each of the last three years. Appearing in 23 games from 2023-26, Tomann averaged 14.9 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists while shooting 53 percent (122-230 FGs) from the field.
