BOISE, Idaho - Boise State travels to Fort Worth, Texas, to take on host TCU Sunday at 4 p.m. MT as part of the 2019 Maggie Dixon Classic.

The Broncos return to ExtraMile Arena to begin a brief two-game Mountain West stint. Boise State hosts New Mexico Wednesday, Dec. 4, before heading to Colorado State for a Sunday afternoon, Dec. 8 tip.

LAST TIME OUT
Boise State stopped its first two-game skid in nearly two seasons, and got back into the win column, with Tuesday's 77-68 win over Utah Valley.

Redshirt senior point guard Jayde Christopher brought the energy early, coming just shy of a triple-double, as she finished with eight points, a career-high eight rebounds, and 10 assists.

Senior guard Riley Lupfer demonstrated again that her shot is falling this season, matching her career high with seven 3-pointers in the win, finishing 7-for-12 from deep and scoring 23 points.

WHO'S NEXT
The Broncos will face TCU (5-0) Sunday as part of the 2019 Maggie Dixon Classic in Fort Worth.

The Horned Frogs wrapped an unbeaten two-game road swing at SMU and Army, and are led on the court by Lauren Heard (12.0 ppg, 3.50 apg) and Kianna Ray (12.0 ppg, 5.4 rpg).

SERIES HISTORY
Boise State is 2-3 all-time against TCU, with the last two meetings coming during the 2011-12 campaign, the only one in which the programs' membership in the Mountain West overlapped.

Sunday's matchup will also mark Boise State's first game against a current Big 12 member while that opponent was a member of the Big 12.

AVOIDED THREE IN A ROW
Tuesday's win over Utah Valley avoided Boise State's first three-game slide since a four-game losing streak from Feb. 10-24, 2016.

Also, having gone into the game with a 3-3 record, the Broncos avoided falling under .500 for the first time since being 2-3 following a loss to Saint Mary's on Nov. 30, 2017.

IN THE NATIONAL RANKINGS
Boise State has found itself, as well as a handful of players, ranked fairly high in early national stat rankings through Nov. 26.

As a team, the Broncos rank third in the country in assists (128), just seven behind national leader DePaul. The Broncos' 63 3-pointers made rank sixth in the country, and the team's 47.4 field-goal percentage is 27th.

Individually, redshirt senior point guard Jayde Christopher leads the nation with 54 assists, while senior guard Riley Lupfer is second in the nation with 28 3-pointers made, and seventh with 4.0 triples made per game.

APPROACHING GOAT STATUS
Senior guard Riley Lupfer hit her 261st-career 3-pointer Nov. 15 at UAB to pass Abby Vaughan (1999-2003) as Boise State's all-time leader for the women's basketball program.

Now, after a performance of seven 3-pointers Tuesday against Utah Valley, Lupfer's career tally is at 273, and she's just three away from passing Anthony Drmic (275, 2011-16) as Boise State's all-time leading 3-point shooter, regardless of program.

BACK TO HER SHARPSHOOTING WAYS
Senior guard Riley Lupfer put on a show Tuesday night, matching her career high with seven 3-pointers and going 7-for-12 from deep to finish with 23 points.

The performance continued a 2019-20 campaign in which Lupfer appears to have regained her sophomore-year form. That season, Lupfer set a program and Mountain West single-season record with 122 3-pointers, averaging 16.2 points per game and posting FG/3FG/FT percentages of 46.5/45.2/92/7.

After making "just" 67 triples, shooting 36.5 percent from the field and 32.1 percent from deep a year ago, Lupfer is averaging 14.3 points a game with 28 triples and shooting percentages of 48.6 from the field and 44.4 percent from deep.

MAKING THE OFFENSE GO
Redshirt senior point guard Jayde Christopher has been on fire running the Bronco offense this season, leading the nation with 54 assists over the first seven games (7.71 per game) through games of Nov. 27.

Christopher, who passed out 182 helpers, third-most in Boise State single-season history, in her debut season for the Broncos last year, has had at least seven assists in five of the seven games in 2019-20. After matching the Boise State single-game record of 14 Nov. 2 at No. 8/9 Louisville, Christopher passed out 10 more helpers Tuesday against Utah Valley as she just missed a triple-double, also scoring eight points with a career-best eight rebounds.

COLEMAN'S BACK IN FORM
Judging by the last two games, redshirt senior forward A'Shanti Coleman appears to have broken out of the shooting slump in which she was mired for four games.

From Nov. 8-20, Coleman went just 9-for-35 (25.7 percent) from the field, but over the past two games has aggressively gone to the hoop and shot a combined 76.5 percent (13-for-17) for 29 points.

Nov. 24 at No. 8/9 Louisville, Coleman went 7-for-9 shooting for a season-high 15 points, and followed that with 14 points on 6-for-8 shooting and eight rebounds Tuesday against Utah Valley.

HODGINS HEATS UP
Senior guard Braydey Hodgins is another Bronco, along with A'Shanti Coleman, who has shaken off a season-opening slump.

Hodgins started the season just 6-for-22 from the field through the first three games, averaging 6.7 points, but has heated up over the last four. Over that span, the Pasco, Wash., native has averaged 17.0 points while shooting 50.0 percent (23-for-46) from the field and 78.3 percent (18-for-23) from the line.
