MACON, Ga. - Boise State women's golf closed out the fall portion of the 2019-20 season Tuesday, shooting a collective score of 319 to finish the Idle Hour Collegiate Championship in 14th place.
Junior Lexi Perry was Boise State's top finisher at the event, firing a final-round 75 to finish tied for 28th at +14 (76-79-75=230). Freshman Taylor Koch was also in the top 50, finishing tied for 42nd at +19 (78-77-80=235).
Junior Nicole Suppelsa (77-82-80=239) came in at +23, while freshman Elena Pany (82-86-84=252, +36) and redshirt senior Ivane Helias (83-80-90=253, +37) rounded out the Bronco lineup.
Sophomore Cora Mickelsen (86-81-78=245, +29), competing as an individual, shot her lowest round of the tournament Tuesday, carding a 78 to finish out the event.
"It wasn't the finish we wanted to the fall, but we know what we have done well and what we need to continue to work on," said Boise State head coach Nicole Bird. "We'll use these next three months to continue to work and get better and prepare for the spring season and Mountain West Championships."
Charlotte won the team competition at 3-under (290-285-286=861), while Charlotte's Cecilie Finne-Ipsen and Georgia Southern's Ella Ofstedahl tied for medalist honors at 7-under.
Boise State will return to action and open its spring season Feb. 21-23 at the Rio Verde Collegiate Invite in Rio Verde, Ariz.
