BOISE, Idaho - Boise State women's golf begins the spring portion of the 2019-20 season Monday and Tuesday, competing at the Battle At The Rock at Oak Quarry Golf Club in Riverside, Calif.
Boise State will send a lineup of Nicole Suppelsa, Lexi Perry, Ivane Helias, Valentine Lacaze, and Taylor Koch to this week's event.
The Oak Quarry Golf Club course will play at a Par 72 and at 6,093 yards. The Broncos will be among a 17-team field which includes host UC Riverside, Cal Baptist, Cal Poly, CSU Bakersfield, Cal State Fullerton, CSUN, Grand Canyon, Hawai'i, Idaho, Nevada, Northern Colorado, Santa Clara, Southern Illinois, Wyoming, UC Davis, and Utah Valley.
Monday's first-round action will begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. MT, with the second round immediately following the conclusion of the first. Tuesday's final round will also begin as a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. MT.
Perry and Suppelsa will each be playing in their sixth tournament of the season, the only Broncos to make the lineup in each event. Lacaze makes the lineup for the fifth time this season, while it is the fourth lineup appearance for Koch and third for Helias.
Boise State is coming off of a fall season in which it played five tournaments, topping out with a pair of seventh place finishes at the Ptarmigan Ram Classic (Sept. 23-24) and Rose City Collegiate (Sept. 30-Oct. 1), respectively. Individually, Perry highlighted the fall campaign by claiming medalist honors at the Ptarmigan Ram Classic, finishing at 1-over and capping her win with a birdie putt on the final hole of the final round.
