BOISE, Idaho - Boise State wraps its regular-season, non-conference slate Sunday afternoon, hosting Pepperdine for a 2 p.m. tip.

LAST TIME OUT
Boise State cruised to a 75-32 win over Western Oregon in matinee action Wednesday at ExtraMile Arena.

Mallory McGwire led the Broncos with 19 points on 8-for-12 shooting, with sophomore Jade Loville adding 10 points on 5-for-11 shooting.

The Broncos out-rebounded the Wolves, 50-33, led by eight boards from A'Shanti Coleman, made a season-high 15 steals, and held the Wolves to just 13 field goals and 22.4-percent shooting.

WHO'S NEXT
The Broncos close out the regular-season non-conference slate Sunday when they host Pepperdine at ExtraMile Arena.

The Waves (6-3) come into Boise on the heels of a 70-67 win at home against UC Davis. Pepperdine is led by the play of Paige Fecske (13.4 ppg, 13 3-pointers) and Malia Bambrick (9.8 ppg, 16 3-pointers).

SERIES HISTORY
The Broncos and Waves will meet for the fourth time with Sunday's clash. Pepperdine leads the overall series, 1-2, with Sunday's meeting being the first between the teams since a 68-57 Bronco home win back on Nov. 20, 2011.

IN THE NATIONAL RANKINGS
Boise State has found itself, as well as a handful of players, ranked fairly high in early national stat rankings through Dec. 16.

As a team, the Broncos rank second in assists (234). The Broncos' 45.7 field-goal percentage ranks 26th, and the team's 108 3-pointers are sixth in the country.

Individually, redshirt senior point guard Jayde Christopher leads the nation with 102 assists, and is second with 7.85 assists per game. Senior guard Riley Lupfer is second in the country with 46 3-pointers made, and sixth with 3.54 triples made per game.

STRONG NON-CONFERENCE FINISH
Boise State will aim to finish its regular-season, non-conference slate strong Sunday.

The Broncos, already at 7-4 in non-conference play, could finish with eight such wins with a victory over Pepperdine. That would give Boise State at least eight regular-season, non-conference wins for the fourth time since 2014-15.

WELL-EARNED BREAK COMING
The Broncos will get a well-deserved break from action following Sunday's game, not returning to action until New Year's Day when Mountain West play resumes at Wyoming.

Boise State has been on a rapid playing pace over the last month, averaging a game every three days by the time of Sunday's tip against Pepperdine. Sunday's contest will be the Broncos' seventh of December.

This pace has included no break from competition greater than four days, as well as road trips each of the last five weekends since a Nov. 15 contest at UAB.

CONFERENCE BUSINESS TO TAKE CARE OF
With Sunday's contest against Pepperdine closing the non-conference chapter of the regular season, the Broncos will then return their attention to defending their Mountain West titles.

Boise State, already 2-0 in conference play after wins over New Mexico (Dec. 4) and at Colorado State (Dec. 8), resumes the final 16-game Mountain West stretch at 2-0 Wyoming Jan. 1, followed by a home date with Nevada Saturday, Jan. 4.

McGWIRE HITTING HER STRIDE
Redshirt junior Mallory McGwire appears to be finding her comfort zone and hitting her stride (and her shot!) nearing the halfway point of her debut season with the Broncos.

McGwire's 19 points Wednesday against Western Oregon marked her eighth game scoring in double figures, and brought her season average up to 11.8 points per game.

Along with leading the Broncos with 7.9 rebounds per game, McGwire is shooting 50.4 percent from the field, a number made more impressive considering she's added the 3-pointer to her arsenal this year, hitting from deep at a 44.1-percent clip (15-for-34).

SIXTH WOMAN OF THE YEAR?
What's more fun than speculation after two conference games?

But seriously, buy stock in redshirt senior guard Ellie Woerner as a leading contender for Mountain West Sixth Woman of the Year after her performances off the bench in wins over New Mexico and Colorado State. The Sammamish, Wash., native scored eight points on 3-for-5 shooting with four assists and fought her way to three rebounds in 24 minutes of action Dec. 4, and followed up with six rebounds and a key 3-pointer in 17 minutes off the bench in the Dec. 8 victory in Fort Collins.
