San Jose, Calif. -
A 23 year-old record fell Friday night at The Event Center in San Jose, Calif. The gymnast responsible? None other than senior Shani Remme.

Remme took her first all-around victory on Jan. 22, 2016, with a score of 39.250 during her freshman year. Tonight, she took home her 19th all-around victory, breaking the program record for all-around career wins, with a score of 39.400.

"I could not be more proud of Shani," co-head coach Neil Resnick said. "She is such a talented, hard-working gymnast who has just gotten better and better each year."

The record was previously set by Boise State gymnastics legend Julie Wagner back in 1995.

"For her to break the ultimate school record of our first All-American and our first perfect 10 score (Julie Wagner) is so amazing!" Resnick said.

Remme already holds the program record for most career beam wins, with 21 victories on the apparatus. She also set the record for single season beam wins last year at 8, and will go down in history as one of the winningest Broncos in program history.

Here's how Boise State (6-0) took down San Jose State (5-6) and UC Davis (6-6), with a final score of 196.525, their highest score so far this season.

The Broncos started off the meet on beam, where they managed to put together the 11th-highest team beam score in program history at 49.250. Seniors Sarah Means and Alex Esmerian led the way, sharing the event title with a pair of 9.900s. Remme kicked off her campaign for the all-around victory by finishing with a 9.850. In the end, the Broncos would have the top four scores on beam.

The Blue and Orange carried its momentum into the second rotation, where they were on floor. Remme led the way with a 9.900 to win the event title, and Isabella Amado followed close behind with a 9.800. Both Tatum Bruden and Courtney McGregor finished with solid scores of 9.775. At the halfway point, Boise State led the tri-meet with a score of 98.225.

There was no stopping the Broncos' forward push in the third rotation. Means earned the victory with a new career-high vault score of 9.925. McGregor followed with a 9.800. Remme continued her push for the all-around victory with a score of 9.775. In total, the team combined to score a 48.850.

The Broncos' final event of the evening was bars, where they sealed a convincing win by taking the top five spots in the event. As a team, they put together a 49.450, the eighth-best combined bars score in program history. Emily Muhlenhaupt had a record-breaking night of her own, breaking her career record and tying the program record bars score with a 9.975. Remme sealed her "record deal" by recording a 9.875, securing an all-around score of 39.400. Teammate McGregor finished close behind in the all-around with a 39.275.
