BOISE, Idaho - Boise State closes its two-game homestand Saturday, hosting San Diego State for a 2 p.m. tip in the Broncos' annual Pink Game.
LAST TIME OUT
Boise State picked up its 20th win of the season and finished the regular-season sweep of Fresno State with Wednesday's 83-76 victory over the Bulldogs at Taco Bell Arena.
Braydey Hodgins posted her third-straight 20-point game, going for 21 with four 3-pointers while adding a pair of blocks on the defensive end.
The Bronco bench had one of its best games, combining for 30 points on 13-for-19 (68.4 percent) shooting, led by 11 points on 5-for-7 shooting from sophomore Tess Amundsen.
WHO'S NEXT
Boise State closes the two-game homestand Saturday afternoon against San Diego State (10-12, 5-6 MW).
The Aztecs have won four straight, including a 61-59 upset of New Mexico on Feb. 6, heading into Saturday's meeting with the Broncos. San Diego State is led by the play of Sophia Ramos (14.4 ppg, 4.64 apg) and Najé Murray (13.6 ppg, 4.2 rpg).
LAST MEETING
Boise State captured the first meeting of this season between the Broncos and Aztecs with a 69-66 win in San Diego on Jan. 5.
The Broncos held a 13-point lead with 8:57 left in that contest, before holding off an Aztec comeback in the final five minutes. San Diego State got to as close as one at 60-59 with 3:54 to play before Braydey Hodgins, who finished the game with 17 points, went 3-for-4 from the line in the final minute to ice the win.
A'Shanti Coleman had a career day for the Broncos that day, going for 22 points on 9-for-13 shooting.
QUICK TO 20 WINS
Wednesday night's win over Fresno State got Boise State its 20th win of the season in just the 23rd game, making this year's squad tied for the second-fastest in program history to 20 wins.
The 1993-94 team also reached 20 wins in 23 games. The Bronco squad that notched its 20th win in the fewest amount of games was the 1974-75 team, which opened 20-1.
THREE-STRAIGHT 20-WIN SEASONS
With its 20th win of the campaign Wednesday night, Boise State becomes the only Mountain West team to currently have three-straight 20-win seasons.

ONLY SECOND 11-1 CONFERENCE START
Boise State's 11-1 start to Mountain West play is just the second time in program history that the Broncos have won 11 of their first 12 conference games.
The only other occasion of an 11-1 start to conference play came in 1977-78, when the Broncos played in the Northwest Basketballl League (NWBL).
IT'S FEBRUARY, SO YES, BRAYDEY HODGINS IS LIGHTING IT UP
The calendar has flipped to February, and soo to March, which means it's time for junior guard Braydey Hodgins to go on a tear.
Through four February games this season, Hodgins has scored at least 20 points in three of them, and is averaging 20.5 points while shooting 53.7 percent (29-for-54) from the field and 50.0 percent (16-for-32) from 3-point range.
Dating back to last season, Hodgins, over 16 games from Feb. 1 on, has posted five 20-point games and averages 12.7 points while shooting 43.5 percent from the field and 37.7 percent from deep.
THE BENCH EATS
One highlight of Wednesday night's win over Fresno State was the performance of Boise State's bench, as the quintet of Tess Amundsen, Rachel Bowers, Sofía Galerón, Jade Loville, and Ellie Woerner combined for 30 points on 13-for-19 shooting (68.4 percent).
Amundsen led the crew with 11 points on 5-of-7 shooting, while Bowers and Loville combined for 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting. The second unit's effort was most efficient in the opening four minutes of the fourth quarter, as Amundsen, Bowers, Loville, and Woerner teamed with Braydey Hodgins to open the frame on a 14-5 run to extend Boise State's eight-point lead to a 71-54 advantage with 6:01 to play.
NATION'S DEEPEST TEAM?
The play of Boise State's bench Wednesday against Fresno State bolstered the narrative that any one Bronco can step up and help lead the team to victory on any given night.
Through Feb. 13, the Broncos have had 10 different players lead the team or share the team lead in scoring in a game this season. That figure is tied for the national lead with No. 11/14 South Carolina.
PROTECT TACO BELL ARENA
Boise State went 7-2 in conference play at Taco Bell Arena last season, and are 6-0 this season after Wednesday night's win over Fresno State.
The Broncos are 47-19 all-time in Mountain West games at Taco Bell Arena, and have gone 7-2 in each of the past five seasons.
NOTHIN' BUT LOVE FOR THE HOMETOWN
Sophomore forward Tess Amundsen, a key member of Boise State's second unit, came up with another key performance against her hometown school.
The Fresno native hit her first five attempts from the field and scored five of her 11 points over a 14-5 fourth quarter-opening run in the Bronco win over Fresno State Wednesday. It continued an efficient conference campaign for Amundsen, who, over 8.3 minutes per game, is averaging 4.7 points and shooting 60.5 percent from the field, including 40.0 percent from 3-point range.
Even more impressive about Amundsen's value to the Broncos is that with her team-best plus-18 in Wednesday's win, she's now an incredible plus-68 over 12 Mountain West games.

SIXTH WOMAN OF THE YEAR?
Freshman center Rachel Bowers has quietly been building a solid case for Mountain West Sixth Player of the Year.
Over the last five games (all Bronco wins), Bowers, over 14.6 minutes per game, is averaging 11.0 points and 2.6 rebounds while shooting a blistering 80.8 percent (21-for-26) from the field and 83.3 percent (12-for-14) from the line.
Through 12 conference games, all off the bench, Bowers is shooting 67.3 percent from the field, 90.0 percent from the line, and averaging 7.4 points and 2.9 rebounds over just 11.8 minutes per game.
