Boise State's women's tenis team fell to Colorado State 5-2 on Friday night in Boise.

BOISE, Idaho (4/12/19) – Sydnie Binder and Wiktoria Nosek both earned singles victories but the Broncos ultimately fell to Colorado State in a 5-2 Mountain West match on Friday night in Boise.

Despite the Broncos showing a lot of fight in the doubles matches, the Rams stole a tiebreaker on court two and took an early 1-0 advantage heading into singles play.

Nosek opened singles play for Boise State hot out of the gate as she dominated the Rams' Alyssa Grijalva at the No. 5 slot, winning by a score of 6-1, 6-3 and evening the match at one apiece.

Colorado State came storming back by winning the next two singles contests on courts one and two to move into position to clinch the match up 3-1.
Binder was able to keep the fight alive at the No. 6 spot with a gritty 6-3, 3-6, 6-2 win over Colorado State's Riley Reeves to close the gap 3-2. The win improved Binder to 12-8 overall and 6-2 in spring duals.

The Rams retaliated with a pair of three-set victories on courts four and three to ultimately seal the deal 5-2.

The Broncos will turn around to face another Mountain West opponent in the Wyoming Cowgirls on Sunday April, 12, at 11 a.m. The match is scheduled to be held outdoors at the Appleton Tennis Center if the weather allows.
