BOISE, Idaho - Boise State closes its two-game homestand, and looks to extend its Mountain West-best 17-game home conference winning streak, Wednesday as it hosts Air Force at 7 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Boise State got back into the W column Saturday with an 86-72 victory over San Diego State.

The Bronco bench played a key role in the win, combining to score a season high-matching 40 points and fueling a 29-14 second quarter which put Boise State ahead for good.

Sophomore Jade Loville went 8-for-12 from the field and scored a career-high 21 points, while redshirt senior Ellie Woerner added 10 points, and sophomore Rachel Bowers went for nine.

The Broncos were also nails from the line, going 19-for-20 overall after a 10-for-10 performance Wednesday at UNLV.

WHO'S NEXT
Air Force (4-12, 2-3 MW) has picked things up after an early-season seven-game losing streak, splitting its four games post-holiday break.

The Falcons, who split last week's conference games with a win at Utah State before a home loss to New Mexico, are led by the play of Kaelin Immel (14.7 ppg, 23 3-pointers) and Emily Conroe (9.2 ppg, 7.2 rpg).

SERIES HISTORY
Boise State is 17-1 all-time against Air Force, and has won 12-straight against the Falcons.

Air Force's lone win in the all-time series came in a 77-72 decision Feb. 20, 2013, at the academy.

IN THE NATIONAL RANKINGS
Boise State has found itself, as well as a handful of players, ranked fairly high in early national stat rankings through Jan. 12.

As a team, the Broncos rank seventh in assists (314). The Broncos' 45.1 field-goal percentage ranks 34th, and the team's 135 3-pointers are 22nd in the country.

Individually, redshirt senior point guard Jayde Christopher leads the nation with 139 assists, and is second with 7.72 assists per game. Senior guard Riley Lupfer is sixth in the country with 54 3-pointers made, and 19th with 3.00 triples made per game.

PROTECT THE HOME COURT
Jan. 11's 86-72 win over San Diego State marked Boise State's 17th-straight home victory over Mountain West competition.

The Broncos' last home conference loss was a 72-68 defeat to Nevada on Jan. 20, 2018.

The current 17-game conference home winning streak is the longest in the Mountain West.

LOVILLE IS ON FIRE
Sophomore Jade Loville continued to be on fire shooting the ball Saturday, hitting eight of her 12 attempts for a career-high 21 points. The performance completed a week in which Loville averaged 16.5 points and shot 65.0 percent (13-for-20) from the field.

Over the last six games (beginning Dec. 18 against Western Oregon), Loville has been Boise State's second-leading scorer with 62 points (only behind Mallory McGwire's 96 points). She's averaging 10.3 points per game, and shooting 56.3 percent from the field (27-for-48).

This stretch has been a solid bounce back for Loville, who went through a four-game cold spell from Dec. 4-15 in which she only scored four points.

SECOND TO NONE
They may make up Boise State's second unit, but the trio of guards Jade Loville and Ellie Woerner and center Rachel Bowers is second to none in the Mountain West.

Saturday against San Diego State, the trio combined for 40 points, matching the Bronco bench's season-best output (40 against Portland State on Nov. 8).

Loville led the group with a career-high 21 points Saturday, with Woerner adding 10, and Bowers nine. Collectively, the trio shot 68.2 percent (15-for-22) from the field and 88.9 percent from the line (8-for-9).

Over six Mountain West games, the trio has combined to score 20.0 points while shooting 53.0 percent (44-for-83).

TAKING THOSE FREEBIES
Boise State was mired in a bit of a funk from the free-throw line for much of this season, but appears to have centered itself over the past couple weeks.

After going 8-for-15 from the line at TCU on Dec. 1, the Broncos were a dismal 64.0 percent (64-for-100). But since that game, they've regained their composure, shooting 81.6 percent (93-for-114).

Over six Mountain West games, the Broncos are 53-for-63 from the line (84.1 percent), and are an incredible 29-for-30 (96.7 percent) over the last two games, including a 19-for-20 showing Saturday against San Diego State.

SHARING THE SPOILS
Boise State has gotten back to its "spread-the-wealth" ways as of late, passing out 20 assists in each of its past two contests (at UNLV, against San Diego State).

After being held to just a combined 22 helpers in games at Wyoming (Jan. 1) and at Nevada (Jan. 4), the Broncos' 40 combined assists last week got the team back on track.

Nationally, the Broncos are seventh in the country with 314 assists, a figure which also leads the Mountain West.

HODGINS APPROACHING 1,000
Senior guard Braydey Hodgins is just 15 points away from becoming the 22nd member of Boise State's 1,000-Point Club, and has a very good chance of reaching the milestone this week.

Hodgins broke out with 436 points (13.2 ppg) last season, as she was named to the All-Mountain West Team.

Reaching 1,000 points would make Hodgins the fourth member of her immediate family to hit that mark. Her mother, Karen (Murray) Hodgins, scored 1,745 points at Washington (1981-84), and her older sisters, Delaney (2015-18) and Hayley (2013-16), are 1-2 on Eastern Washington's career scoring list with 2,120 and 1,865 points, respectively.
