ABOUT THE WILDCATS:
Weber State is 2-0 to start the season, winning a pair of games against non-Division I opponents. The Wildcats' roster features nine newcomers, including five Division I transfers. Among the impact transfers is Isiah Brown, who is averaging a team-best 27.5 points per game through two outings. Brown, a native of Seattle, started his career at Northwestern and played last season at Grand Canyon before arriving at Weber State.

SERIES HISTORY: Weber State leads the all-time series 42-28. The Broncos and Wildcats, who were both members of the Big Sky Conference from 1970-96, have not met since 2005. Boise State earned its first trip to the NCAA Tournament with a thrilling double-overtime win against Weber State in the title game of the 1976 Big Sky Championship, on the Wildcats' home floor.

RIGHT PLACE, RIGHT TIME: Boise State's Sunday home game against Weber State was added to the calendar on Thursday, after the Wildcats' game at Utah State scheduled for Saturday, was canceled by the Aggies. The Broncos were seeking a home game against a Division I opponent after games against Santa Clara (Dec. 15) and LMU (Dec. 22) were scrapped for various reasons. The game was finalized just hours after Weber State's weekend cleared.

BIG ROAD WIN: Boise State picked up a 74-70 win at BYU in its last time out, earning the Broncos' first win in Provo since1996, and snapping BYU's 16-game home winning streak. Emmanuel Akot, making his first start for Boise State, drilled the game-winning three-pointer with 13 seconds left to break a 70-70 tie. Akot finished with a career-high 13 points. His heroic shot was thanks to RayJ Dennis' fifth assist in the game. Dennis was also Boise State's leading scorer against the Cougars, matching his career high with 19 points.
