BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State football team is scheduled to play San Jose State for the 2020 Mountain West title

The matchup between the Broncos (5-1, 5-0 MW) and Spartans (6-0, 6-0 MW) marks the first time the championship game features two teams with undefeated records in conference play.

CONFERENCE WIN STREAK
The Broncos have recorded 14-straight conference victories, the second-longest streak in the country. Only Ohio State (20) has a longer winning streak against conference opponents. Boise State will carry into 2021 a 19-game regular-season winning streak in MW play. That figure ranks second in Mountain West history, behind only TCU (24; 2008-11).

THE SERIES
Since the first meeting between Boise State and San Jose State – a nonconference tilt in Boise, Oct. 14, 1978 – the Broncos have yet to lose to the Spartans. Following the initial meeting, Boise State went 10-0 against SJSU when the schools were members of the Western Athletic Conference, and the Broncos are 3-0 against the Spartans as members of the Mountain West.
