Boise State women's tennis swept both College of Idaho and Lewis-Clark State in a doubleheader Saturday afternoon in Boise.

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State women's tennis hosted its second-straight weekend of doubleheaders, and for the second-straight weekend they went 2-0 after sweeping both College of Idaho and Lewis-Clark State on Saturday in Boise.

BRONCOS SWEEP YOTES

Boise State women's tennis made light-work of in-state opponent College of Idaho as they served up a 7-0 sweep in the first match of Saturday's doubleheader.

The Broncos took home all three doubles matches, including shutouts by the No. 1 pairing of Lilian Poling and Holly Stewart and the No. 2 duo of Vanessa Timm and Mae McCutcheon.

Heading into singles play with a 1-0 lead, the Broncos made a lineup change that placed freshman Holly Stewart in the No. 1 slot for the first time in her career. The unfamiliar territory held no bearing on the Kiwi as she dominated the contest 6-0, 6-1 to extend her team's lead 2-0 early in the match.

Not long after, Jovana Kuljanin wrapped up a solid performance on court six to defeat Sydney Ewing 6-1, 6-1 and the Broncos quickly moved into position to clinch the match.

Camryn Moortgat did not miss a beat in her match at the No. 5 position as she cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 win over Marissa Shirley to clinch her team's third-straight victory. Freshman Mae McCutcheon got in on the action as well, earning her first singles victory as a Bronco in shutout fashion 6-0, 6-0 to put the Broncos up 5-0.

With the match well in hand for the Blue and Orange, Ana Conde Vendrell finished off a stellar performance at the No. 3 slot winning 6-1, 6-0 over Leiana Almaraz. Vanessa Timm put the cherry on top by defeating the Yotes' Laura Kreutzer 6-4, 6-2 in a tough battle on court two to complete the team's fourth sweep of the season.

BRONCOS ROLL PAST WARRIORS

In the second match of the afternoon Boise State swept Lewis-Clark State 7-0 to earn its fourth-straight victory and improve to 8-2 on the season.

The format of this match was switched so the singles matches would be played first, followed by the doubles matches at the end. Although she did not play singles in the first match of the day, Poling got things rolling by winning 6-0, 6-1 on court one for her sixth-straight singles victory and entered the Top 20 for career wins in program history.

Stewart continued to be spectacular for the Blue and Orange as she willed her way to a shutout victory on court two and claimed her seventh-straight singles win. The senior Kuljanin improved to 4-1 on the year after shutting out her opponent at the No. 5 position to move the Broncos one win away from clinching the match.

With the chance to secure a victory for her team, Vanessa Timm was able to continue her hot streak by taking down the Warriors' Laura Rosselli 6-0, 6-3 at the No. 3 slot to clinch her team's fourth-straight win and her own seventh-straight singles victory.

On court five, Camryn Moortgat continued to push the Broncos further into the lead as she won a straight-set contest over Alexis Maison 6-2, 6-0. Corey Patton Lossner earned her first singles win of the year defeating Kyla Collier 7-6(3), 6-1 on court six.

The Broncos continued their dominance into the doubles competition taking all three matches and finishing the day without dropping a single set.

Up next, Boise State will host Southern Utah (Feb. 29) and Pac-12 Utah (March 1) as it continues its ten-match homestand.
