BOISE, Idaho - Boise State, off of a 1-1 road week, comes home for a two-game homestand, beginning Wednesday against Wyoming.

CELEBRATING #GIRLDADs
Wednesday night against Wyoming, Boise State will be celebrating #GirlDad in honor of late Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna as part of the program's pre-planned National Girls and Women In Sports promotion.

Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Boise State Women's Athletic Fund.

LAST TIME OUT
Boise State stopped its first two-game conference skid in two years with an 83-72 victory at Nevada Saturday.

Senior guard Braydey Hodgins scored a season-high 25 points on 12-for-22 shooting, while redshirt senior forward A'Shanti Coleman posted her second-straight double-double, matching her career high of 22 points and setting a new career best with 12 rebounds.

The Broncos, after trailing by three at halftime, turned it around in the second half, outscoring the Wolf Pack, 50-35, and shooting 62.9 percent (22-for-35) from the field.

WHO'S NEXT
The Broncos will look to gain a split of the season series with Wyoming when hosting the Cowgirls Wednesday night at ExtraMile Arena.

The teams met for the first time this season back on New Year's Day, with Wyoming erasing a six-point Bronco lead entering the fourth quarter to capture a 73-68 win in Laramie.

The Cowgirls are led by the play of Tereza Vitulova (14.2 ppg, 5.6 rpg) and Quinn Weidemann (9.3 ppg, 33 3-pointers made).

SERIES HISTORY
Boise State leads the all-time series against Wyoming, 13-12.

The Broncos are also 9-2 all-time against the Cowgirls in Boise.

SECOND GO-AROUND
Well into the second half of the Mountain West season, Boise State's tour of rematches continues Wednesday against Wyoming, with the Broncos going for a split against the Cowgirls.

When facing Wyoming, the Broncos will attempt to avoid being swept by a conference opponent since dropping both meetings with Colorado State in 2015-16.

IN THE NATIONAL RANKINGS
Boise State has found itself, as well as a handful of players, ranked fairly high in early national stat rankings through Feb. 3.

As a team, the Broncos rank 15th in assists (385). The Broncos' 44.8 field-goal percentage ranks 29th, and the team's 161 3-pointers are 49th in the country.

Individually, redshirt senior point guard Jayde Christopher is second in the nation with 177 assists, and with 7.70 assists per game. Senior guard Riley Lupfer is seventh in the country with 66 3-pointers made, and 23rd with 2.87 triples made per game.

WHEN THE CALENDAR HITS FEBRUARY...
...the Broncos become nigh-unbeatable.

After last Saturday's (Feb. 1) victory at Nevada, Boise State is now 19-4 in February since the 2016-17 campaign. And, considering the Broncos lost their first two February games in that 2016-17 season, Boise State has now won 19 of their last 21 February games.

COLEMAN DOUBLES UP ON THE ROAD
Redshirt senior forward A'Shanti Coleman had herself a week on the road at San José State and Nevada, posting the first two double-doubles of her career.

For the week, Coleman averaged 19.5 points and 11.0 rebounds while shooting 51.5 percent (17-for-33) from the field.

In front of a sizable group of family and friends in San Jose, Coleman, a San Francisco native, posted her first-career double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds, despite the Bronco loss.

She followed that up Saturday with a career high-matching 22 points and a career-best 12 rebounds at Nevada, going 10-for-12 from the field.

HODGINS IN FEBRUARY
Saturday's game at Nevada was on Feb. 1, so of course it was time for senior guard Braydey Hodgins to go supernova, scoring 25 points on 12-for-22 shooting in the win.

The Bronco senior has made a habit of lighting up the month of February, last year averaging 21.0 points per game while shooting 52.0 percent (23-for-52) from the field in the month.

Saturday's performance in Reno was the seventh 20-point effort in February of Hodgins' career, and seventh-straight following the last six February games of 2018-19.

SUCCESSFUL HOMECOMING FOR McGWIRE
First it was San Francisco native A'Shanti Coleman making her return to the Bay Area with last Wednesday's game at San José State. Saturday, it was Reno native Mallory McGwire facing Nevada for the first time in her hometown.

McGwire salvaged the homecoming week for the Broncos, scoring 12 points on 6-of-10 shooting with nine rebounds in the win against the Wolf Pack, after Coleman's Bay Area homecoming ended in a 74-61 loss at San José State.

TURNING IT UP
Boise State trailed Nevada, 36-33, at halftime last Saturday, but used a big second half to outrun the Wolf Pack. The Broncos outscored the Wolf Pack, 50-35, and shot 62.9 percent over the final 20 minutes to run to an 83-72 win.

It marked just the second 50-point second half, and third such half overall, of this season for Boise State, and the first since Nov. 8.

The Broncos scored 55 points in the second half of its season opener against Lewis-Clark State (Nov. 5), before opening with 51 points in the first half Nov. 8 against Portland State.
