Boise State Divers Wrap Up NCAA Zones

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. - Boise State's three divers completed the NCAA Zone E Championships at Federal Way, Wash., on Wednesday where they competed for a ticket to the NCAA Championships in two weeks.

Taylor Clark, Tatum Thompkins and Marti Erlam all opened the meet on Monday when they competed on the 1-meter springboard recording two top-30 finishes. Erlam led the trio on the 1-meter scoring 240.90 to place 24th, while Clark took 29th with a 229.30 and Thompkins finished with a 221.30. 

Tuesday, the championships turned to the 3-meter springboard competition. Thompkins led the Broncos with a team-high 242.15 followed by Clark at 228.60 and Erlam with a 217.90.

Wednesday saw the platform dive take center stage on the final day of the meet. Boise State's Clark and Thompkins took part in the dive with Clark placing 22nd scoring 207.95 and Thompkins 32nd with a 183.45.

The NCAA Zones was the final meet of the year for the Boise State divers as they turn their attention to the offseason and preparing for the 2020-21 campaign as all three will return next fall, Clark and Thompkins as seniors and Erlam as a junior.
