ABOUT WYOMING: The Cowboys are 7-2 on the season and split a road series with Fresno State in their only Mountain West games thus far. Marcus Williams and Hunter Maldonado combine to average 32.1 points per game for Wyoming, while Maldonado leads the team at 6.4 rebounds per game. Kwane Marble was an all-tournament selection at last year's Mountain West Championship. Head coach Jeff Linder is in his first season with the Cowboys. Linder was an assistant coach at Boise State during Leon Rice's first six seasons at the helm.
SERIES HISTORY: Boise State leads the all-time series 17-14. The Broncos have won the last five meetings, with their last loss coming Jan. 6, 2018, on the road. Boise State is 6-3 in Laramie since joining the Mountain West for the 2011-12 season. It is the most wins and the best winning percentage by any conference opponent at Wyoming during that span.
WIN STREAK HITS DOUBLE DIGITS: Boise State has won 10 consecutive games, matching the longest win streak in program history and tied for the sixth-longest active winning streak in the nation. The Broncos have posted 10 consecutive wins twice before, setting the mark in 1987-88 and matching it in 2015-16.
GETTING OFF ON THE RIGHT FOOT: Boise State is 6-0 in conference play for the second time in program history and the first since 1987-88. That team started Big Sky play with seven consecutive wins and went on to win the conference regular-season and tournament titles. The Broncos had reached 4-0 in league play three previous times under Leon Rice (2010-11, 2015-16, 2016-17). Each of those teams went on to finish in the top three of the league standings.
EFFICIENT AND EFFECTIVE: Boise State ranks 35th nationally in scoring offense, averaging 81 points per game. The Broncos also rank in the top 100 in field goal percentage and three-point field goal percentage. Their 47.3 percent clip from the field is the top mark in the Mountain West.
