Boise State men's basketball returns home for a two-game series against Fresno State. The Broncos and Bulldogs meet Wednesday at 7 p.m. MT at ExtraMile Arena. The two teams will matchup again Friday, at 7 p.m.

ABOUT FRESNO STATE:Â The Bulldogs are 5-5 on the year, including a 3-5 mark in Mountain West play. They swept San Jose State, split with Wyoming and suffered sweeps at the hands of Colorado State and most recently Nevada. Fresno State played at Nevada Friday and Sunday, before continuing on to Boise. Sophomore forward Orlando Robinson is averaging a near-double-double, leading the team at 17.5 points and 9.9 rebounds per game.
SERIES HISTORY:Â Boise State leads the all-time series 23-21. The Broncos won the only meeting last season, 87-53 in Fresno. The 34-point margin of victory is the largest in the series by either team. Fresno State has won four of the last six meetings, including the last two times the teams have played in Boise.
STACK 'EM UP:Â Boise State has won a school-record 12 consecutive games, the sixth-longest active win streak in the nation. The Broncos had posted 10 consecutive wins twice before, setting the mark in 1987-88 and matching it in 2015-16. The win streak includes an 8-0 Mountain West record, the best start to a conference season in program history. The Broncos became the fifth team in MW history to start a league season 8-0, a mark that was matched by Utah State over the weekend.
PARTY IN THE PAINT:Â In its two-game sweep at Wyoming last week, Boise State shot 52.8 percent from the field, 63.5 percent on two-point field goals and scored 100 points in the paint. The Broncos outscored the Cowboys inside 48-30 in the opening game before going right back to the well for a 52-36 advantage in the second meeting. Boise State scored 86.5 points per game and won both games by an average of 21.5 points The Broncos never trailed against Wyoming, leading for 79 minutes and 22 seconds in the series.
RISING THE CHARTS:Â Derrick Alston, Jr. ranks No. 13 on Boise State's career scoring list with 1,216 points. Alston entered the season at No. 30 on the school's all-time list and has risen 17 spots in the first 13 games of the year. Next up on the list is Vince Hinchen (1981-84) at 1,243 points. Alston needs to score 262 more points this season to pass Chandler Hutchison and break into the top 10.
RANKINGS ROUNDUP:Â Boise State is pegged No. 16 in the NCAA NET Rankings, as of Jan. 18. The Broncos checked in at No. 13 in the initial release, Jan. 4. Boise State is receiving votes in both major polls and has climbed to No. 56 in the KenPom rankings, up from 106 to start the season.
RELENTLESS:Â Boise State is one of only three schools nationwide to rank in the top 30 of scoring offense and scoring defense, joining Baylor and Drake. The Broncos' 81.8 points per game ranks 28th nationally, while also ranking 27th allowing 61.8 points per game. The +20.0 average scoring margin is No. 5 in the country. The Broncos also rank in the top 50 in field goal percentage (.482; 42nd) and field goal percentage defense (.393; 32nd).Â
