LAHAINA, Hawaii – Boise State men's golf closed out the fall season shooting 268-286-270—824 (-28) and finishing third at the Ka'anapali Classic this weekend at Ka'anapali Golf Course.

"It was a nice finish by the team today to salvage a decent result and end the fall season on a positive note," said head coach Dan Potter. "This venue suits our players and it was disappointing to not have a chance to win after a bad day yesterday. The guys showed some maturity by coming back and finishing well."

Hugo Townsend (64-73-66—206) fired two rounds in the 60s to lead the way for Boise State, finishing 10-under and tied for 10th. Skyler Eubank (66-72-68) followed right behind, shooting 7-under and finishing tied for 16th.

Townsend and Eubank have both finished in the top 25 of each of Boise State's first five tournaments. This marks the first time a Bronco duo has accomplished this since Jon Herendeen and David Lebeck did so in the 1993-94 season.

Max Charles (71-68-68—207) earned his fourth top-25 finish of the season as he fired 6-under and placed tied for 19th. One stroke behind him was Joe Neuheisel (67-73-68—208) who finished tied for 21st. Alex Talbot (74-74-77—225) rounded out the lineup, placing tied for 70th for the Blue and Orange.

Boise State ended the fall campaign with an average tournament finish of 3.2. The Broncos begin the spring season Feb. 11-12 with the Wyoming World Match Play at The Classic Club in Palm, Desert Calif.
