Boise State welcomes New Mexico to Albertsons Stadium for Senior Night.
THE SERIES
Boise State is 10-1 all-time against New Mexico and has won four straight against the Lobos.
THE GAME
The Boise State football team will host its final regular-season home game of the 2021 season Saturday (Nov. 20), squaring off against New Mexico on Senior Night. The Broncos and Lobos are slated to kick at 7 p.m. at Albertsons Stadium, and the game will be nationally televised on FS1.
BOWL-ELIGIBLE WINS
Four of the Broncos' six wins in 2021 have come against teams that are already bowl eligible, tied for the second-most in the country with Michigan, Mississippi State and Wisconsin. Only top-ranked Georgia has more (five). Boise State has wins against UTEP, Utah State, BYU and Fresno State. Three of the Broncos' losses have also come at the hands of teams that have already reached bowl eligibility – Oklahoma State, Nevada and Air Force. The Broncos will face at least nine bowl-eligible teams in 2021, tied with Indiana and Navy for the most in the country.
BOWL ELIGIBILITY
Boise State has achieved bowl-eligible status for the 24th-consecutive season, the third-longest active streak in the country. The Broncos trail only Ohio State (33) and Georgia (25) on the current list, and each has already extended its streak this season (which is reflected in the numbers). Entering 2021, Boise State was one of only 16 schools nationally to carry a streak of at least 10-consecutive seasons of reaching bowl eligibility into the season. That list also included the aforementioned schools and Clemson (22), Oklahoma (22), LSU (21), Wisconsin (19), Alabama (17), Oklahoma State (15), Miami (13), Ohio (12), Stanford (12), Texas A&M (12), San Diego State (11), Toledo (11) and Washington (11).
SENIOR NIGHT
The Broncos will honor 24 student-athletes as part of their 2021 Senior Day, Saturday. The list includes Caleb Biggers, Daniel Cantrell, Damon Cole, Octavius Evans, Will Farrar, Cyrus Habibi-Likio, Donte Harrington, Shane Irwin, Tyreque Jones, Kekaula Kaniho, Aisa Kelemete, Davis Koetter, Ezekiel Noa, Divine Obichere, John Ojukwu, Uzo Osuji, Kurt Rafdal, Jack Sears, Jake Stetz, Khalil Shakir, Andrew Van Buren, Joel Velazquez, Tyler Visser and Riley Whimpey. During the 2020 season, the Broncos' Senior Day game against San Jose State was canceled. The Broncos have won four-straight Senior Day games since a loss to Air Force in 2015 (37-30), and 20 of the last 21 such games
